Lyme Disease Symptoms can be naturally treated

Lyme disease (LD) is a collective term for an illness caused by the tick-borne bacteria called Borrelia. Although the clinical presentation in the first stage is well defined, the chronic phase varies widely from patient to patient. Lyme Disease symptoms can drastically impact the lives of those who suffer from them. The fatigue and pain can make life unmanageable and difficult. Because symptoms can be very vague, many people suffer for years without even knowing they have this disease. Thankfully, I can help you with such symptoms, even when the medical diagnosis is unclear. Classical Homeopathy Ottawa offers natural and holistic treatments for Lyme Disease.

Two stages have been identified in the manifestation of Lyme Disease.

The early stage exhibits a consistent symptom picture: an expanding skin rash which often takes the shape of a bull's eye (Erythema Migrans, EM), low grade fever, fatigue, pains in joints and limbs as well as swollen lymph nodes. Occasionally blue-red swellings in various parts of the body surface and progressive affections of the nervous system mark this first stage. Antibiotics can successfully eradicate the infection in its early manifestation. [1] It is important to note that not everyone infected will develop the hallmark symptoms of Erythema Migrans according to the Mayo Clinic and many cases likely go unreported [2].

Untreated cases and cases where antibiotic treatments have failed are prone to enter the second, or chronic stage of Lyme Disease. This stage lacks well-defined symptoms and the physical complaints are often vague and unspecific. It becomes hard to determine whether a patient's health is actually impacted by a Borrelia infection or not. A possible absence of evidence for Borrelia in blood work as well as a lack of plausible exposure make it even more difficult to medically treat persistent Chronic Lyme Disease [3]. Patients at this stage have already experienced much personal suffering. They come to the homeopathic clinic presenting a host of non-specific complaints that are very different from individual to individual. Among these symptoms may be intolerable pain, headache, swollen lymph nodes and persistent nerve problems. The latter include numbing and crawling sensations under the skin, brain fog, memory loss, disorientation, exhaustion, muscle weakness and overpowering fatigue. In fact, the wide range of experienced symptoms in Chronic Lyme Disease overlap with symptoms of other chronic medical conditions such as Fibromyalgia, Lou Gehrig disease, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Hashimoto's disease, MS and Parkinson's Disease [3] . It is very likely that you suffer from Post-Lyme disease syndrome if you experience fatigue, widespread musculoskeletal pain and complaints of cognitive difficulties within 6 months of the diagnosis of Lyme disease AND you have persistent continuous or relapsing symptoms for at least a 6-month period after completion of antibiotic therapy, [3].Antibiotic treatments in this stage have not proven to be successful according to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Atlanta and a study published in New England journal of Medicine. [4] So What Can You Do? There are ways to treat Lyme disease successfully with homeopathic remedies as delineated in this patient's case. The success of a homeopathic treatment is independent of a diagnosis and a disease label. You also do not need to present typical disease symptoms to be successfully treated. Any chronic complaint is treated naturally and holistically on the basis of your characteristic and specific symptoms. I listen very attentively to any symptom that is unique to you. Subjective complaints are more important than lab results and this is a source of hope for patients seeking help for their vague and non-specific complaints. The natural and holistic treatment of Lyme Disease not only addresses the physical aspect of the symptoms, but also addresses the psychological make-up that renders a patient susceptible to Lyme disease. Damaging relationships and a lost sense of order may accompany many Lyme Disease cases. My treatment will help you address these or other life stress while treating the physical manifestations of the disease. I am committed to finding the right homeopathic remedy that will set you on a path to recovery. References: [1] Tobias A.
